What was your inspiration for the Cafe?

Family was our biggest inspiration. Opening up a restaurant has always been my father’s dream. And we’ve always been a huge foodie, always trying out new recipes and flavors when cooking for our family. So when the opportunity to open my own restaurant came, I took it! I’m blessed enough to make his dream come true with support from all family and friends.

What is a must-try item on the menu?

Simp for Shrimp. It’s deep fried shrimp tossed in our special handmade sauce on a bed of creamy coleslaw. Anyone who has had it can’t stop talking about it! It’s our best-seller- you’ll be guaranteed to come back for more!

What is your favourite dessert item from the menu?

Bueno Crepe. It satisfies all chocolate lovers’ cravings. So mouth-watering! It is the perfect blend of hazelnut, crispy wafer and chocolate in an absolutely delicious crepe.

What is the perfect background for an IG picture at the cafe?

Honestly, everywhere is perfect- There’s no boring wall in the cafe! Literally every wall has an eye-catching backdrop…even the bathroom.

If there was one celebrity that you would want to dine at the cafe, who would it be?

Drake. Our Toronto-themed cafe would definitely be something he would appreciate. Not to mention the delicious dinner and dessert items on the menu!

What’s your favourite art piece in the cafe?

The Mural is my favourite. But if I were to get specific, I love the painting of Kobe Bryant. My husband loves basketball and is a huge Kobe Bryant fan, so this tribute was something close to both of our hearts.
